Talk about the PIT BBQ.....Everybody's doin the mess a round

Happy Memorial Day everyone. For any that have had family and friends that have served and currently serving, and most of all for any of you that have had a family member that has passed and served our country!

I finally started my weekend job! WOOHOO. Now to start paying things off. Today at work we had BBQ from Famous Dave's and chocolate fondue with bananas, pineapple, strawberries, pretzels, graham crackers, and marshmellows! Needless to say we were stuffed!

Also, over the weekend we got our first cheap BBQ PIT! I told Jared we took one more step to being adults. I told Jared he passed, and we can officially get married because his BBQ was good and my daddy would approve. A few of my fav shots from the weekend. Find the full album here at Facebook.

Did I make you hungry yet? I didn't stuff myself, but I was full. We were watching the food network after we ate about BBQ across America and I had to tell Jared to change the channel! I was so full the site of more BBQ made me nauseated! I also found a new drink I like. I tried the POM liquor with pineapple juice and splash lime..yummers. It was similar in sweetness like amaretto, but different.

Remember I told you Buddy had some pitiful pictures from his first visit to the vet for his yearly shots since he has been with us. They are posted in the album link above as well. I like this picture of his new sitting place on the couch.

And perhaps the funniest picture is the one that makes me question my choice of a future husband! HAHAHA.

Tonight Jared and I talked about the gym. I am going start doing the gym a few early mornings. Jared agreed. join with me and go early. It will only cost 10 bucks more for a joint account for www.snapfitness.com.

We both need to get into shape end of story! Ok peoples, thats all for today! I got some shirts today on sale at JcPenny's for 60 dollar..would have been 150! Yay for sales! Leave some love in the comments!

Enjoy the week everyone!

Thanks so much for the anniversary wishes! Sounds like the wedding plans are coming along nicely. I would have LOVED to have a January wedding, I love that time of the year. It's going to be so exciting with Christmas and the wedding afterwards. I look forward to hearing more!
