So here we go.....

So we have a new blog..yay. I am still learning how to use this and get it out to people. I am very used to the livejournal services, but this is a little different. So please be patient while I work out the kinks.

Anyhow, I thought this would be a neat way for Jared and myself to keep better in touch with everyone with our new beginning just around the corner! I am also thinking about a website, but will do that later.

So we are 9 months away from the big day! I am in the process of narrowing down dresses. Jared has a deadline for the end of April to figure something out for a bestman. This is a touch decision for him. We also have to get to the tux stuff and get all those things figured out. Sometime very soon we have to contact the priest again to get out pre-cantor classes started for the Catholic church. I feel like we have so much to do, but you can only do so much at a time! We do have all of the big things kind of taken care of so far. we have our church, reception, caterer, photographer, flourist all done. I still have to decide about a videographer, and on the back burner maybe a band if budget permits, if not we are going to stick with a DJ. I have picked out what invites we will use, we just have to order when it is time. I also got my toasting glassware...so cute.

Jared's school semester is wrapping up...thank goodness. This has been a busy one! He had way too many school trips. Jared at this time is also wanting to re-enlist in the USMC. We have had multiple conversations with that! We had the job of telling the most of the family about that last month. I was ok with it as long as he waited until after the wedding to start the process.

I am about to start my new weekend job to save money for the wedding and get more bills paid off. I should also be getting a raise for my full-time job, so that will be great as well...I have no clue though how big/small it will be. I should find out soon.

Both Jared and I have been working out to get sexy for the wedding. I won't lie I really slacked this week! I also joined a smaller 24-Hour gym nearly 5 mins from the apartment and canceled the huge 15-20 min drive gym from the house. We are also both watching the best we can how we eat. We want to look nice for our wedding day, but also try to start our new lives together healthier so we can be with each other a little longer!

Not much else going on. Jared's Senior recital is April 12th. I will be back in Louisiana May 16th-ish for my cousin Kyle's graduation!

Stay tuned for more entries that may be more exciting!

Ciao
